BOOGERTOWN GAP is a musical duo who bring to you the pleasures of Old-Time Appalachian music, or "Mountain Music" as some folks refer to it. Boogertown Gap also refers to a place in Sevier County, Tennessee near Gatlinburg. Boogertown Gap is Keith Watson and Ruth Barber, a husband and wife team that share a love of the Great Smoky Mountains and the music of their ancestors that lived here, and of the myriad emigrants and their descendents who shaped this folk music. Their intention is to provide you enjoyment while listening to the Appalachian folk music and stories they tell about the music, its roots, and life in these mountains.
