Alex Leach (age 17) met Tyler (age 15) & Corey (age 12) Smith in March of 2006 in Rockwood, Tennessee. They became friends immediately, sharing the admiration for classic Bluegrass. Since then, Tyler has joined The Mystery Mountain Boys with Alex and now they perform Bluegrass full time. Their first album was released in July, 2006, . Not only do they perform the classic Bluegrass sound, but they are often complemented for the suits and ties they wear, just as Bill Monroe, Lester & Earl, and The Stanley Brothers wore in the classic days of Bluegrass...and they know how to pick that genuine traditional Bluegrass.
