LORI THOMPSON & FRIENDS : Carl Stump, Suzanne Privett, Chris Pepe, Lori Thompson, Phil Husted, Ed Entwhistle

LORI THOMPSON was raised in the Catskill Mountains of New York State where she learned to play both the mandolin and guitar when she was 15 - as well as writing songs and performing in the family band "The Suttons" along with her dad and brother. In 1990, Lori moved to Remsen, NY, in the Adirondack foothills and in 1994 she joined the bluegrass band "Stump Hollow". They perform at numerous bluegrass festivals and events and have opened for bluegrass greats like Dry Branch Fire Squad, the Warrior River Boys, and Larry Stephenson.

Many of Lori's songs tell a story. Some come from experience. Some have a history lesson to tell like The Ghost of Wash Loomis which is about the notorious Loomis Gang from the Waterville, NY area.

On her debut CD, Little Bit of Love, Lori has teamed up with her friends from "Stump Hollow" (Carl Stump, Suzanne Privett, Chris Pepe, Phil Husted, and Ed Entwistle), her brother Ron Sutton, and her good friend Dorraine Scofield, to present a collection of her original songs you'll want to listen to again and again.
